Why join the Greater Oakland Republican Club?
GOGOP began in 2004 with just six members. Since then, we have grown to over 200 members and over 2,000 email subscribers. We are proud to be one of the most active and recognized Republican Clubs in the state. Because of our membership, we are able to attract great speakers, elected local and State officials as well as experts on hot topics.
Our general meetings are held at the beautiful Canterbury Village Castle in Lake Orion, on the second Tuesday of each month, except for July and December.
We have a Club picnic in July and a pot-luck Christmas party in December. The Club has one large fundraising event called Oktoberfest. It’s a well-attended, fun-filled evening with food, music, dancing and of course, beer! The particulars on all these events, including the speakers for the general meetings are published in the Monthly Newsletter sent to all members.
Leadership meetings are held monthly to address Club business. All paid members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
